Delicate, sweet, and bite-sized, Melissa’s Champagne Grapes—also known as Zante Currant or Black Corinth—are a treat for the eyes and taste buds. These tiny, seedless grapes are prized for their deep blue-black color, naturally sweet flavor, and elegant clusters that make any snack or display feel special.

Champagne Grapes are now primarily grown in California, where warm, sunny days and cool evenings help develop their signature sweetness. Despite their name, Champagne Grapes aren’t actually used to make Champagne. The name comes from their elegant, bubbly appearance—tiny berries on a slender stem that resemble champagne bubbles in a glass.

Perfect as a dessert fruit, a garnish for drinks or cheese boards, or a quick poppable snack, Champagne Grapes add a touch of sophistication to any occasion. Freeze them for a bite-sized treat or let them dry naturally into sweet, bite-sized raisins.

Store them in the refrigerator, wrapped in a paper towel and inside a vented bag, for the longest shelf life, and enjoy within a week.
